After 5 years of experience as a freelance photographer and videomaker, since 2019 I have focused on events and conference photography. ABOUT
Matteo Cogliati was born in Cantù (Italy) in 1987. He graduated in Product Design from Politecnico di Milano in 2012.
In 2013 he followed his passion for photography and video production achieving a Certificate IV European level “Senior technician for communication” and professional courses. In 2014 he started to work as a freelance photographer and videomaker gaining important work experiences with clients that operate in different fields like Organisation In Design, Fondazione Casa della Carità, CeAS, Frontiers Conferences, and EMIT Feltrinelli.
In 2017, he accomplished combining his job with his passion for sports, becoming a sports photographer working with the photojournalistic agency LaPresse and collaborating with other national and international agencies, and newspapers.
Since 2019, he focused on events photography being the official photographer of various events in Europe in different fields (conferences, exhibitions, tradeshows, congress, symposium). From September 2019, Matteo became a member of the Italian national press association (Ordine Dei Giornalisti, card number 173480) as a professional photojournalist and of AIPS (Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive, card number ITA09498).
Currently, he is partly based in Ghent (Belgium) and Como (Italy), collaborates with various photo agencies (TiPress, NurPhoto, Pacific Press, Soccrates), and is a member of the French photo agency and production studio Hans Lucas.
